Week 5 (slight delay)

Wow time goes quick in BKK! What can I say.... Well, there have been parties, many all-nighters finishing on swimming pools on the roof watching the sunrise. Excellent. Meeting lots of fun new people. Still working on the job front and the apartment. I have an afternoon reception job in the works which will get me a condo....But until then I am most enjoying having wonderful Thai parents... they are too kind to me, Take me for dinner, go food shopping together! Me and Mare (new mum) go swimming/for a run every day. I buy dad cigarettes. Its an amazing experience as I think Im the only ferang (foreigner here) who lives this way! 90% pf my friends are thai so I'm picking up so much. Not too good at the thai chat up lines but Im working on it! haha.

This week I am mostly enjoying:
Parties
Dressing up
Instant coffee
Bam mee (soup) for 50p
Sunglasses in an array of colours & shapes
My new found friends
Cute thai boys


Mostly not enjoying:
My stolen phone
My cloned and unusable bank account
Being tired from lack of sleep
My broken handbag
Flashbacks of falling over on the dancefloor.

NB. I met this 'Elvis' type man with a pink Cadillac - the only one in Thailand. I like to think he was a pimp.

Week 2 Bangkok

Hello again fans (by fans, I clearly I mean Meagan and James)

Had a fun weekend, out all night at roof top bars lit by flying candles that look like swans! so pretty. Insanely hot so waking up at 4pm to miss the heat. Swimming today. Job wise I've been applying all over the place for odd bits. Photographing, tutoring, modeling/acting work (good money I heard. sexy.) Ill let you know when something crops up. Oh, and randomly spoke to a woman who was wearing the same dress as me at a bar. Turns out we share a birthday and she lived in High Wycombe! Insane! Her brother was from Tylers Green. Small world. Well, it is for me as I'm a giant. (That's me & Lex in the photo. My half English, half Thai friend. Cutie)

Thai Times week 1

As promised for my dear friend Meggy Kelly, I have set us this blog for people to track my overly joyous life.

I am now in super sunny Thailand. Its great seeing all the Thai gang again and they are looking after me so well. Enjoying Thai soups and Japanese snacks! I do feel at home in Bangkok. I of course miss all my lovely friends and family back in the drizzle.

I forgot to take my camera out last night to the culture club which was a shame as I could've put up some hilarity. However, I was papped on the dance floor due to my giantness so I will tag that one on here as soon as I find it on some creepy website.

I am looking for work and struggling greatly. Its as dry as England right now for jobs but we'll see... Oh, and Joke has organised a belated Birthday party for me this Friday night which should be fun times. I'm excited....
